Lady Knights Soccer Kicks It In Gear

The NCHS Lady Knights soccer program recently opened their second season on Monday, March 2 with a 2-1 win over Columbia High School’s varsity team. Varsity Baseball Takes Down Chesterfield 3-1

An outstanding effort by junior Tyler Bowers hoisted North Central Knights Varsity to a 3-1 win in seven innings over Chesterfield on Monday at CHS. Softball Schedule Change

Due to forecasted rain JV and varsity softball teams will travel to Buford on Thursday, March 12, 2015 rather than the originally scheduled Friday. JV will begin at 5:00pm and Varsity will begin afterwards at 7:00pm.

Humphries to Play Softball at USC Salkehatchie

Senior Erin Humphries committed to play softball at the University of South Carolina Salkehatchie after graduation. Humphries was joined by her father, Larry Humphries, her mother, Rita Humphries, her brother, Patrick Humphries, Student Activities Director Louis Clyburn, head varsity softball coach Mike Grigsby, and assistant varsity softball coach Emily Fenton.

Wrestling AA State Finals

North Central High School wrestlers sophomore Mason Gomez and senior Tyler Small wrestled in the AA State Finals at the Anderson Civic Center this past Saturday. Gomez finished second while Small finished fifth. Way to go Knights!

Hunter Wyant Signs With Palmetto Prep

Senior Hunter Wyant signed to play post-graduate football with Palmetto Prep Academy in Columbia, South Carolina. The signing took play in the North Central High School gymnasium on February 4, 2015. Wyant was accompanied by his father, Richard Wyant, his grandmother, Wilhelmina Wyant, and NCHS Student Activities Director Louis Clyburn.
